We’re honored to have Dr. Sameer Puri, DDS serve as emcee for the Ultimate Experience in Digital Dentistry. As the Vice President of education for CDOCS, Dr. Puri understands digital dentistry like no one else. A clinician and educator for over 2 decades, he mentors CDOCS’ world-class team of trainers. He’s also an advisor to numerous dental corporations and manufacturers, and for over 15 years, he’s been instrumental in testing new CEREC software. His unparalleled expertise makes him the perfect guide over the course of 3 incredible days.

American Board-certified Periodontist and CDOCS Resident Faculty will perform a live, simulcasted dental implant surgery highlighting step-by-step details regarding the use of digital technology to aid in practical diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical, and restorative protocols to achieve predictable outcomes with implant therapy in the esthetic zone.

Dr. Markus B. Blatz is the Professor of Restorative Dentistry, Chairman of the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, and Assistant Dean for Digital Innovation and Professional Development at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where he also founded the Penn Dental Medicine CAD/CAM Ceramic Center. Prof. Dr. Blatz graduated from Albert-Ludwigs University in Freiburg, Germany, and was awarded additional Doctorate Degrees, a Postgraduate Certificate in Prosthodontics, and a Professorship from the same University.

Dr. Erin Elliot grew up in southern CA but attended a small NAIA school in western NY, where she played collegiate soccer and graduated summa cum laude from Houghton College. She has a special interest in Dental Sleep Medicine, lecturing extensively on the topic, she loves to help general dentists extend this life-saving service to their patients. She is an active member of her local American Dental Association, the Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and is past president and diplomate of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. She teaches a 2-day Sleep Apnea Implementation Course with 3D Dentists and Dr. Tarun Agarwal.

Dr. Skramstad is a 2000 graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is a certified advanced CEREC trainer and has lectured internationally on technology, implantology, and digital dentistry. He’s an alpha/beta tester for Dentsply Sirona and enjoys working closely with the engineering and product management teams to help with hardware/software development. As product consultant for multiple dental companies, he has the pleasure of testing and evaluating many products prior to market launch, and has published numerous articles on materials and CAD/CAM.

Dr. Dhaval Patel graduated from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, India in 2003. He has been in private practice in Roseville, CA since 2006. Dr. Patel has been a CEREC user since 2007, and his articles on CEREC CAD/CAM technology have been published in Compendium, Inside Dentistry, as well as CEREC Doctors magazine. He has presented on CEREC at Dental Town, CDA, SironaWorld Meetings, and several dental schools around the USA. Dr. Patel is the faculty member for CEREC for the PDS Institute and has trained hundreds of dentists over the last 10 years. He is a KOL for Dentsply Sirona, Ivoclar Vivadent, GC America, and Kuraray Noritake.

Dr. Mona Patel owns and practices General Dentistry at Bayshore Dental in Whitefish Bay, WI. In practice for 12 years, Dr. Patel uses an all-digital office workflow with CEREC, CBCT, and fully integrated Teneo Treatment Centers in her newly redesigned office. As a graduate of University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, she completed an AEGD at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. Dr. Patel is passionate about creating smart office design and digital patient workflows in dental practices, and consults on implementation into offices. She was awarded the American Institute of Architects 2017 Honor Award for Design Excellence and ADA Wells Fargo Dental Office Design of the Year Award for her new office buildout.

Dr. Sarah Jockin is a champion of digital dentistry and can’t imagine treating her patients without it. Practicing CBCT integrated implantology since 2011, she values having full control over her patients’ dental implant experiences. Dr. Jockin is associate clinical professor at UF Gainesville, where she teaches CAD/CAM digital workflows to Graduate Prosthetics Residents. As the director of CERECseminars.com, a digital training facility in Tampa, FL. Dr. Jockin is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and speaker for Dentsply Sirona, lecturing on crown down implantology.

Dr. Mark E. Hyman is a renowned dentist from Greensboro, NC, and public speaker whose work is characterized by his warmth, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and passion for dentistry. As an accomplished seminar speaker, he has lectured throughout North America and Europe at every major dental meeting. Dr. Hyman has earned national and international recognition for his seminars. Since 2001, Dentistry Today magazine has selected Dr. Hyman as one of the top speakers in dentistry. He loved his 32 years in private practice, and currently serves as an Adjunct Full Professor and Special Assistant to the Office of the Dean at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, NC.

Dr. Klim is an internationally recognized speaker, author, manufacture consultant, beta tester, and educator of biofunctional and esthetic CAD/CAM dentistry. He is a Fellow in the  Academy of General and Accredited member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Currently, Dr. Klim has a full-time restorative practice in Santa Rosa, CA, is founder and director of the Klim Institute (CEREC training center), and directs the Klim Institute online CEREC training.
