With the Facescanner for Galileos imaging devices, the vision of the virtual patient is coming closer: While taking the X-ray, the scanner plots a virtual "mirror image" of the patient. The X-ray scan and 3D face scan are superimposed fully automatically and accurately.
Unlike conventional face scanners, the Galileos Facescanner is laser-free and thus easier on your patients. After plotting the facial surface, texture and coloring in the software help produce an especially realistic image of all soft tissue proportions. Patients can identify much better with a facial image generated in this way than with an X-ray image. This promotes even greater trust!
